Veli is the founder and director of Cinga Capital. His capabilities include leading, structuring and executing investment banking transactions in both the public and the private sectors. Prior to founding Cinga Capital, he was a Private Equity Principal at Investec Bank Limited. While at Investec, he started and ran the Africa Division. He serves as a non-executive director on various boards of listed and unlisted companies.

Mlungisi has over 9 years’ financial services and investment banking experience with a track record of advising on listed and private transactions to large listed and unlisted companies in South Africa - with a focus on real estate advisory. He has concluded over R25 billion worth of corporate finance transactions across various sectors, including, inter alia, mergers and acquisitions, listings, BEE transactions, restructurings, capital raisings, disposals and PPPs during his time at Cinga Capital and as an investment banking consultant at Investec Bank Limited.

Kwanele has over four years of financial services experience and is a qualified Chartered Accountant having completed her articles at Deloitte in the Financial Institutions Services team. Whilst at Deloitte, Kwanele lead audit teams on banking and private equity clients. Prior to joining Cinga Capital in 2018, she was a financial accountant in the Corporate Banking Division of Rand Merchant Bank Limited. Her experience to date at Cinga Capital includes BEE transactions, performing valuations, financial due diligence and preparation of investment proposals.
Pule joined Cinga Capital as an Analyst in 2015. He is responsible for the general execution of corporate finance transactions which includes building financial models, conducting financial and industry analysis, conducting financial due diligences and the preparation of research reports and investment discussion papers. During his time at Cinga Capital he has advised on and executed transactions across various industries including Media, Real Estate, Energy and Power, Oil and Gas, and Construction and Engineering. He obtained a BCom Econometrics degree majoring in Economics and Mathematical Statistics from the University of Pretoria, and is a CFA Level 3 candidate.

Zandi has over 3 years of financial services experience and is a qualified Chartered Accountant having completed her articles at Discovery Limited. During her time at Discovery, Zandi rotated across the various business units (Health, Life, Vitality) where she was exposed to multiple financial reporting cycles. Prior to joining Cinga in 2019, Zandi was a Finance Associate at Vitality Group, the international division of Discovery where she assisted the CFO and Finance Team with projects spanning IFRS valuations, internal financial controls and the computation of key risk indicators.
Luyanda joined Cinga as a junior analyst in 2018. His responsibilities include, preparation of tender documents, discussion papers, investment proposals, presentations and business information memorandums for potential investments. He obtained his Finance degree, majoring in Investment and Financial Management from the University of Johannesburg.
